a NGO network?

wouldn't it be great if all the NGOs in singapore could get together, say, every 3 months, to let each other know what the other is doing currently, and to explore opportunities for cooperation? groups like AFA, AWARE, DPA, Thinkcentre, could potentially leverage on each other's strengths to move civil society forward. these groups are already talking to each other, but, i suppose, on an ad-hoc basis now.

Visit to SUARAM
as part of the project HEART mentioned earlier, a group of us went to visit SUARAM's JB branch, to find out how about their work. it was an enlightening experience as we found out more about the human rights situation in malaysia, their current projects, the difficulties they face.
